TraCe featured in PRIF Review

Summary of TraCe activities in 2022

The new PRIF Review 2022 is online and presents the research center "Transformations of Political Violence (TraCe)". The detailed feature addresses not only the partner institutions and goals of the research center, but also the various research areas, past activities, and publications. As such, TraCe's research premises are summarized in the first working paper as well as the first podcast episode with Prof. Dr Astrid Erll and Prof. Dr Christopher Daase, TraCe spokespersons in the first year of the project, in which they talk about the importance of interdisciplinary research on violence. Moreover, the first lecture series in Marburg in the winter semester 2022/2023 is presented, in wich different perspectives on the transformation of political violence were discussed and can be re-watched on YouTube. Lastly, the Feature presents the TraCe Kick-Off on the Russian invasion of Ukraine, in which representatives from politics, academia and civil society discussed the implications for political violence in December 2022 at the Hessian State Representation in Berlin.

This year, for the first time, the PRIF Annual Report has been published bilingually in English and German and presents topics from ongoing and completed research projects of the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt. It is now available online.
