New Addition to TraCe Research Team

TraCe warmly welcomes Anja-Liisa Gonsior and Iris Volg

We are delighted to welcome Anja-Liisa Gonsior and Iris Volg as new Associate Fellows.

Anja-Liisa Gonsior is based at PEASEC – Science and Technology for Peace and Security at Technical University of Darmstadt and focuses on emerging and disruptive technologies that are transforming the nature of warfare and challenging existing arms control mechanisms. Within TraCe’s Research Area  Forms, she examines the limitations of traditional arms control instruments and explores innovative regulatory approaches.

Iris Volg has previously worked as a Research Associate at TraCe and at Goethe University Frankfurt, and now continues her research as an Associate Fellow. She h focuses on intrastate conflicts, with a particular emphasis on peace negotiations, conflict intervention, and nonviolent action in the context of violent conflicts. In Research Area Forms, she investigates the internationalization of intrastate conflicts as a key trend in the transformation of political violence.
