We welcome Larissa-Diana Fuhrmann as new Associate Fellow at the research center „Transformations of Political Violence“! Larissa-Diana Fuhrmann is a research associate at the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF). Her research is part of the project “Conflict and Art: The Transformative Potential of Aesthetic Practices” in the program area “Glocal Junctions”. She is interested in theoretical and artistic engagements with political violence, focusing on decolonial perspectives and critically questioning the production and transfer of knowledge in academic and artistic contexts. As an associated TraCe researcher in the Research Area Interpretations (3.1 Interpretation of Violence and 3.2 Memories of Violence) as well as in the research field Synergies (4.3 Pacification or Transformation?) she brings together artistic and academic knowledge on political violence and makes it accessible to a wider audience.
