As of the end of 2025, Priska Daphi, professor of general sociology and conflict sociology at Justus Liebig University Giessen, has joined TraCe as an Associate Fellow in research areas Forms and Interpretations.
Her research focuses on the transformation of political conflicts and violence in Europe. She places particular emphasis on civil society, protests, and other forms of political participation. Additionally, she examines the dynamics of exclusion, polarization, and political mistrust, as well as the memory of past conflicts. Daphi is interested in the connections between collective memory and activism.
