We are delighted to welcome Danica Trifunjagić to TraCe! She works at the Institute of History at TU Darmstadt, and joins TraCe’s Research Area Interpretations.
In her work, Danica Trifunjagić examines the intertwining of social movements, culture, and the political violence they cause, particularly in the case of street protests since 1968. She focuses particularly on protest culture in the (post)Yugoslav region. She analyzes how these protests are represented in the media, artistic forms of expression, and performances, as well as the significance of gender within these contexts.
