In June and July 2025, we welcome Adam Kochanski as a new Visiting Fellow at the TraCe Research Center. Adam Kochanski works as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science at the University of Guelph in Canada. He will spend his Visiting Fellowship at Goethe University Frankfurt.
Adam Kochanski's research focuses on transitional justice, post-conflict peacebuilding, international norm dynamics, memory politics, international criminal law and international courts. As part of TraCe, he will continue his research on the circulation of local norms, ideas and solutions in world politics. His work is located in the Research Area Institutions 2.3. Containment of New Violent Actors.
On July 9, 2025, Adam Kochanski will present the fourth lecture on “Practicing Norm Localization in the International Human Rights Regime” of the TraCe lecture series. Further information on the lecture series.
