TraCe Welcomes New Visiting Fellow

Adam Kochanski from the University of Guelph visits TraCe

In June and July 2025, we wel­come Adam Kochanski as a new Visi­ting Fellow at the TraCe Re­search Center. Adam Kochanski works as an Assis­tant Professor at the Depart­ment of Politi­cal Science at the Uni­versity of Guelph in Canada. He will spend his Visi­ting Fellow­ship at Goethe University Frank­furt

Adam Kochanski's research focuses on transi­tional justice, post-conflict peace­building, inter­national norm dynamics, memory politics, inter­national criminal law and inter­national courts. As part of TraCe, he will con­tinue his research on the circu­lation of local norms, ideas and solu­tions in world poli­tics. His work is located in the Research Area Insti­tutions 2.3. Contain­ment of New Violent Actors

On July 9, 2025, Adam Kochanski will pre­sent the fourth lecture on “Prac­ticing Norm Locali­zation in the Inter­national Human Rights Re­gime” of the TraCe lecture series. Further infor­mation on the lec­ture series.
