TraCe Visiting Fellow Gruia Bădescu will give a public keynote speech as part of an internal workshop on “Urban Violence”. The keynote, entitled “Violence in/against the city: Making sense of urban violence from urbicide to feral cities” will take place on the evening of the first day of the workshop and is open to all interested audiences.

TraCer members Sybille Frank, Nicolai Hannig, Sara-Luise Spittler, and Jona Schwerer will also contribute to the workshop, along with Freia Anders, Martin Coward, Fabien Jobard, and Simone Tulumello. The workshop is jointly hosted and organized by TraCe and the DFG-funded research training group “Organizing Architectures” and will take place on October 13 and 14 at TU Darmstadt.
