Fourth lecture of TraCe lecture series “Violence as a Global Challenge”

 

The fourth lecture of the TraCe lecture series is given by Dr. Valeria Lazarenko and is titled “Ethical knowledge production about the Russia–Ukraine war: the insights from a positioned researcher”. Valeria Lazarenko is an associated research fellow at the SFB “Affective Societies” at Freie Universität Berlin, research fellow at Leibniz-Insititute for Research on Society and Space (IRS) and Senior Researcher at the Georg–Simmel Center for Urban Studies in Humboldt–University of Berlin. In her research she focuses on the construction of spatial identities of internally displaced people in Ukraine.

The lecture series “Violence as a Global Challenge” provides an interdisciplinary insight into the current dynamics of political violence. The events take place every week on Wednesdays from 06:05 to 07:45 pm, mainly in German and in the Kaiser­saal of the Schloss der Technischen Universität Darmstadt. They are streamed live on the TraCe YouTube channel.
